Evaluation format (1/2)

The evaluation will be done on the computer with the help of the HEIG-VD online evaluation platform (Eval).

You must be connected to the HEIG-VD network or connected to the VPN to access the evaluation platform.

Once you are done, mark your evaluation as done and you can leave the room quietly.

A dummy evaluation will be available before the evaluation so you can familiarize yourself with the platform.

Evaluation format (2/2)

The evaluation will last 90 minutes and the questions will be in French. You can answer them in French or English.

The evaluation dates will be as follows:

  • DAI-TIC-C (Wednesday mornings): 14.01.2026
  • DAI-TIC-B (Wednesday afternoons): 14.01.2026
  • DAI-TIC-A (Thursdays): 15.01.2026

You might be asked questions about the theoretical content and the practical content of each course (including the code examples).

You might be asked about elements seen in the practical work(s).

You might be asked to write/explain code snippets or to explain how to solve a specific problem.

Notes

You have access to your own notes in paper format.

Your notes must fit on two (2) double-sided sheets (so four (4) single-sided sheets).

They can contain anything useful to you: definitions, schemas, code snippets, etc.

Rules

No communication between students is allowed.

ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot or any other AI assisted tools are not allowed during the evaluation.

Cheating is not allowed. If you are caught cheating, you will get a grade of 1 for the evaluation.

Some typical questions are at the end of each course you studied. Questions about the practical contents of each course can also be asked.
